I'm really partial to skinny snowboarder dudes, I admit it. But Bode, Bode, Bode. Let the abuse come, other commenters, and I'll explain why Bode and I have been fake-involved since Nagano; why he isn't the worst thing America has ever produced, why although I wish he didn't think beer and chicks were so neat, it's not really my business because Bode's all about doing you own thing and finding your own bliss (yes, I said finding your own bliss; Bode makes even my uptight career-girl self find her inner hippie); and why he's hot as hell, why it's amazing that he looks like he taught himself to ski but still totally rules, and finally, why he justifies my approach to skiing: do whatever you can to get down it and feel free to flail your arms as much as you like, since that's what they're there for and it's just more fun that way.
Oh damn. I messed up a semicolon and forgot to sign it. I guess, since I had to point that out, I'm not that close to my inner hippie after all. SM

though i hate to hurt SM's feelings, and do have to admit that bode miller is way hotter than il pomodoro volante, bode is to skiing what musicians are to dating: way too unpredictable. i maintain that living off-grid doesn't bode well for future emotional stability. please pause to appreciate spelling pun.
